The Janie Sims Children's Foundation

The Janie Sims Children's Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping children with cancer and their families. Janie's Foundation supports the groups, organizations and individual volunteers that provide aid, comfort, education and recreational experiences to these children and their families. The Janie Sims Children's Foundation is committed to supporting and funding research toward a cure for pediatric cancer.
 
The Janie Sims Children's Foundation is a 501 (C)(3) non-profit organization and donations are tax deductible. We rely on support through donations from individuals, groups, businesses and fundraisers.
 

About Making Miracles

   Making Miracles was founded by the current Miss America 2005 Deidre Downs. In addition to providing volunteer services to pediatric cancer patients, in the fall of 2002 Deidre designed and proposed the new specialty license plate in the State of Alabama called "Curing Childhood Cancer". The proceeds of this tag benefit pediatric cancer research at the UAB Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Children's Hospital of Alabama.
